Rob is a Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registered Clinical Psychologist, with over 15 years’ experience in Psychology in the NHS.
Working in offshore research with deep sea divers stimulated Rob’s interest in psychology, leading to research into substance use in children and voluntary sector interventions for childhood disaffection
Following Doctorate training Rob initially joined the Primary Care Psychology in South Tyneside. Since 2008 he has worked as the Highly Specialist Clinical Psychologist into the multiagency looked after children team in North Tyneside, fully responsibility for establishing and developing its clinical psychology service.
Rob developed and delivered a highly effective adoption and fostering support service under contract for North Tyneside Fostering and Adoption Service.
Rob is thrilled to be back in the voluntary sector, joining the ARC Adoption team in developing and delivering adoption support services.
