ARC Adoption North East COVID-19 Coronavirus update

In these unprecedented times the priority of ARC Adoption is the well-being of our staff, our adoptive families, our prospective adopters and our colleagues from other agencies that we work closely with.

In keeping with the government’s advice issued on 16th March 2020, from Wednesday 18th March 2020 our office will be temporarily closed until further notice and all employees will be working remotely from home.

We will be operating a daily duty system which can be accessed via emailing [email protected]

You will receive a response from the duty worker or your message will be directed to the appropriate member of the ARC Adoption team.

Staff will no longer be attending face to face meetings but will attempt to contribute or communicate via the use of technology.

If you are an adopter requiring support or advice please email your support worker or social worker on their usual email address and please also copy in [email protected] to ensure that your email is responded to in the event that your social worker is unavailable.

If you require support or advice from our Therapeutic Adoption Support Service Team (TASS Team) please email [email protected]

If you are enquiring about becoming a parent via adoption and the adoption process please complete the adoption enquiry form and a member of the ARC Adoption team will contact you.

Please note due to the current circumstances we are postponing adoption information sessions and all planned training events and support groups until further notice.

Thank you for your understanding during this difficult period and please stay safe
