This year’s National Adoption Week taking place 14th to 20th October 2019, continues to aim to find loving and nurturing homes for those children who so desperately need them.

Using real life stories ARC Adoption will be highlighting the choices that are available to adopters and the qualities and attributes that make a great adopter and the joys and challenges they face.

Terry Fitzpatrick, director at Sunderland based voluntary adoption agency ARC Adoption North East says, “We’re asking anyone who may be considering adoption to think about whether they have the qualities to offer a loving and nurturing home to a child. Registered outstanding by Ofsted, ARC Adoption host regular information sessions at their office 29, North East Business and Innovation Centre, Sunderland, SR5 2TA, the take place on the first Thursday of every month.

To celebrate National Adoption Week 2019 ARC Adoption North East are hosting an information morning on Saturday 19th October at 10am for potential adopters to come along and explore the options available to them and find out about the outstanding support that is available to them throughout the adoption process and beyond.
