Adoption is a way of providing new families for children who cannot be looked after by their birth parents and need to belong to a new family.

The dedicated team from our Therapeutic Adoption Support Service are there to support our families through the journey of adoption, as well as providing ongoing support for life!

ARC Adoption's stats
in the last 12 months:


31 new families created, with 25 boys and 14 girls now enjoying a loving and nurturing family.


2110 children are waiting to be adopted in England today, and 42% are part of a brother & sister group.

 1 in 3 

In 2022, 1 in 3 of the families (both couples and single adopters) approved by ARC identified as LGBTQ+.
