Adopter reviews of experience with ARC

We understand that deciding to become a parent is a huge decision which is why it is important that you choose the right adoption agency for you.

ARC Adoption is an independent, outstanding-rated adoption agency, with a fantastic team offering what we believe is one of the best adoption support services available, however we don’t want you to just take our word for it. Take a look at what other adopters are saying about their experience with ARC Adoption North East below. This may help you choose whether ARC Adoption North East is the right adoption agency for you.

"We adopted our five year old little girl via ARC Adoption. We have been so well supported by ARC throughout the process and continue to have that same level of support post-adoption.

We have been given access to the Adopter hub, undertaken Theraplay training, assigned our own support worker, invited to a private Facebook group to share tips and advice with other adopters and we know our social worker is there if we need her. Arc’s professionalism has been excellent from the start. No question is ever too small and they are always so happy to help.

We feel blessed to have found our perfect match thanks to ARC Adoption." Adopter.

“I couldn't recommend ARC more; they make you feel so at ease that they feel like an extension to your family. ARC really have made our dreams come true and we have two beautiful babies thanks to this wonderful team. We are so grateful to have such a fantastic social worker who knows us better than we know ourselves and who has been such a huge part of our journey to becoming a family. Thank you ARC.” Laura

“Best people ever to have in your life to help you reach that dream of having your forever family. Can't thank you you all enough, especially Angela who has been there for me every step of the way. Adoption Order finally granted today.
So happy my life is now complete.” Sara

“Celebrating our gorgeous child’s birthday and this was all made possible with the fantastic support from the first-class team at ARC xx.” Sharon

“Simply fantastic in every way. Experienced, compassionate and lovely staff. Fantastic organisation.” Paul

“Lovely group of people, excellent at what they do, totally committed!!” Sarah

“From picking up the phone to enquire your agency has been exceptional. Going through the application process your staff were thorough, supportive, encouraging, quick to respond any queries we had and communication was great. The training days we attended were really great and we found them interesting and very useful at times throughout the process. Thank you so much to yourselves and all the team at ARC we have two beautiful children and can never thank you all enough.” Julie

“If it wasn’t for ARC and the amazing team of staff, we wouldn’t have our little boy. The time and effort that all the staff put in to you becoming a parent to a child that needs a home is simply outstanding. No question was silly question and through the process they totally made us feel at ease.” Tony

“We must say that during the entire process we’ve never been made to feel like a same sex couple and have instead just been another couple wanting to adopt. Amazing company with amazing staff.” Jamie

“Fantastic, professional and approachable group of people. From my first enquiry just over a year ago, everyone I have met at ARC has been brilliant. Couldn't have asked for anymore on my journey to becoming a parent and can't recommend them highly enough. Support and guidance every step of the way from a fab social worker. Big thank you!” Hannah

“Simply fantastic in every way. Experienced, compassionate and lovely staff. Fantastic organisation.” Paul

“We were so impressed with the information evening and the staff we met. You are all so passionate about your roles, it’s so refreshing and encouraging.” Information event attendee

"Thank you so very much for tonight, it was brilliant and has helped us to decide that we are ready for adoption and definitely want to work with you guys. We can’t stop smiling and grinning and looking forward to move onto the next steps of adoption to make our forever family. You all seem like such a lovely bunch of people to work with and looking forward to our future appointments." Information event attendees

"It was our second farm visit organised by ARC and it never disappoints. From the warm welcome as we arrived from the ARC team to the variety of things to see and do it was a fab day out. The opportunity to spend time with other ARC families, catch up and share stories was invaluable. The kids loved meeting other kids and had an awesome time pumpkin carving, holding animals, going to wizard school and doing the treasure hunt. Thank you ARC!" Adopter following our Halloween farm visit 2021

"Having ARC support us through our adoption process has been the best decision we have made. The team are super friendly and have been so helpful answering all our questions at every stage, making us feel that no question we ask is silly or to much. There training support has all been well presented and very educational, giving us the set up we need to become great adopters. I really can't recommend them enough." Adopter feedback from ARC's annual evaluation survey 2021

"From day one till the approval panel and beyond ARC have been with us every step of the way. The helpful staff have guided us along our journey to starting a family. We couldn't have done this without ARC and I would not hesitate to recommend ARC to anyone wanting to even enquire about adoption." Adopter feedback from ARC's annual evaluation survey 2021
