Adoption support Training Training dates Training Dates The very first moment you consider becoming a parent via adoption is the start of your adoption journey; an exploration of whether it is the right option for you, and the steps that you will need to take as you build your family. As part of the support that you will receive throughout the adoption process and beyond, you will benefit from various training from the ARC Adoption team, such as: Stage 1 and Stage 2 training, Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity, Empathy (PACE) training, and Connected by Adoption training, all of which will help you and those close to you, to prepare for you becoming a parent. Training dates for 2021 and early 2022 20th November 2021: PACE 8th and 9th January 2022: Stage 1 Training 15th and 16th January 2022: Stage 2 Training 29th January 2021: PACE 5th and 6th March 2022: Stage 1 Training 12th and 13th March 2022: Stage 2 Training 19th March 2022: PACE 7th and 8th May 2022: Stage 1 Training 14th and 15th May 2022: Stage 2 Training 21st May 2022: PACE Please note that considerations will be made as to whether adoption training will take place virtually or face to face in line with government guidance at the time.
