Understanding the Early Years and Supporting Child Development and Stimulation through Play Workshop - Wednesday 8th May 2024

Who is this workshop for: ARC’s approved adopters and those in stage 1 and 2 of the approval process

The ARC Adoption team is hosting a workshop exploring early years development and the schemas children follow, as well as the benefits of play for children of all ages.

During the session, you will be given ideas you can try at home to extend your child’s development through play, learning how to get involved and how to keep your child stimulated. This will include sensory play ideas too, and the benefits to children.

The team will also talk about the importance of experiencing the outdoors, and share practical ways you can engage children when visiting environments such as parks and the beach.
