On December 4^th 2022, the ARC Adoption team were delighted to welcome 450 children and families to their annual Christmas party, held for the second time at the Stadium of Light in Sunderland.

Preparing for the Christmas party, especially as it continues to grow, is always a big team effort, and such a privilege for us all to be involved in at ARC. It is magical to see so many of the children we support or have supported, having fun with each other, and our wonderful families catching up with people and our team.

As well as the team, we also have lots of other people to thank, who generously give their help, time and creativity to help us make the party what it is. We also have fantastic individuals and organisations who donate prizes for our raffle and to support our fund raising.

Festive fun activities at this years event included a visit to Santa in his grotto, letter writing to the North Pole, balloon art and face painting. There was lots of space for party games and dancing too.

We just wanted to say thank you so much for putting on today. The kids had a great day and you all made such an effort, which meant so much. We felt a little emotional and overwhelmed at the amount of adopted families there, that you all helped become families in the first place.

Thank you for a lovely time at the Arc Christmas party yesterday. It was so good to see you - and the Arc team. The quiet room worked out really well and the children had fun. 😊😊😊 The children were thrilled to meet Santa!  Simply magical!
