Family Support Worker

Carol began her career at BT in 1979 where she spent 26 years before joining a local authority, initially working in administration in the social work team and latterly within the registration of birth, deaths and marriages. 

Carol also previously worked with birth parents, writing life story books, and with looked after children before joining ARC Adoption as a Family Support Worker in May 2016. Today, Carol manages ARC’s birth parent support service, providing an unjudgmental and empathetic support service to birth parents who are no longer caring for their children.

Carol is happily married to Kevin, and is a proud Mam to two beautiful daughters Jordan and Zoe, and to her gorgeous black Labrador puppy Finley. In her spare time Carol enjoys spending time with her family, walking Finley and the other four-legged friends in the family, reading and listening to music.
