Team Manager - Adoption Support 

Donna is a highly skilled and experienced social worker specialising in supporting children and families through the transition into adoption and long beyond.

Donna joined ARC Adoption in 2015 to establish and manage our dedicated Therapeutic Adoption Support Service (TASS) and is trained in Theraplay, DDP and Therapeutic work with Looked After Children, including Therapeutic Life Story Work.  She leads a highly skilled and committed team of support workers, and is passionate about delivering effective and meaningful support to adopted children and their families, and is always looking at ways we can improve our service offering to help families thrive. As well as managing the TASS team, Donna also supports and completes assessments on prospective parents who are going through the exciting yet understandably daunting process to adopt - something she does with great care.

Donna was instrumental in bringing ARC Adoption’s choir to fruition – just one of many support initiatives for families that she has championed. 

Donna is married to Craig, and is a proud Mum to the gorgeous Martha and Louie.
