Family Support Worker

Lauren is an early year’s professional, with a wealth of knowledge in child development. She has experience of teaching children in both educational and community settings, with a focus on learning through play, forming positive relationships, promoting social, emotional and language development.

Passionate about supporting the needs of children and families, Lauren joined ARC Adoption’s Therapeutic Adoption Support Service (TASS). In her role as a Family Support Worker, she provides dedicated advice and one-to-one support to a wide range of families who have come together through adoption. Lauren also delivers training and workshops alongside the TASS team, and helped to develop ARC Adoption’s peer support groups for adopted children and young people, which she co-runs. 

Lauren is married to John and is a proud Mam to two gorgeous boys, Oliver and Thomas.
