Senior Adoption Practitioner

Linda is a highly skilled social worker with experience of child protection, looked-after children and children in need. She is also mother to three children, one of whom she and her husband Paul adopted in 2010.

Linda has previously worked closely with young carers and their families, where she proudly won both local and regional awards for her work. She then moved to a position supporting young people leaving the care system and gained experience within a fostering team prior to joining ARC Adoption in 2014.

Today, Linda brings a great deal of experience, both personal and professional, to her role at ARC Adoption, along with some straight talking and plenty of humour. These are things our prospective adoptive parents greatly value when attending the adopter preparation training sessions she delivers, or when being guided through the assessment and family finding process with her as their social worker.
