Education Adviser

Michael began working with ARC in early 2025 to support families and the team with issues relating to education and school. 

Michael brings a wealth of experience having previously held the position of Virtual School Head in South Tyneside which involved supporting and advocating for looked-after children in school. He also currently holds the role of Education Consultant with the University of Strathclyde.

As well as being an expert in education, Michael is also an adoptive parent – so has a fantastic understanding of adopted children from both a professional and personal standpoint. 

His practical advice and reassurance on a range of topics has been invaluable to families and the team.
